Tharoor shared a picture with LK Advani on his X account on November 8

The Congress party has distanced itself from MP Shashi Tharoor’s remarks on BJP veteran LK Advani. Tharoor had said it was unfair to judge Advani solely based on the 1990 Rath Yatra.

Party spokesperson Pawan Khera clarified on Sunday that Tharoor was expressing his personal views.

He added that Congress fully distances itself from the statement, highlighting that Tharoor’s comments, made in his capacity as a Congress MP and Working Committee member.
