First Freeze: Most areas will see temperatures dip below freezing tonight. Some spots could be as cold as the upper 20s.

Freeze Warning: In effect for all zones except western areas (already froze in late October) and far southwest counties. Protect sensitive plants and pets.

Monday: Cooler with highs in the 50s and lighter winds.

Tonight marks the first widespread freeze of the season for much of Central Texas. The National Weather Service has upgraded the previous Freeze Watch to a Freeze Warning , with the exception of western zones (which already experienced a freeze at the end of October) and far southwestern zones, where overnight lows are expected to hold in the mid-30s.
