Abrazo Scottsdale Campus has added a new Robotic Navigation Platform by Globus Medical for spine surgery.

The system integrates real-time navigation with robotic precision to enhance patient safety and surgical accuracy in spine procedures, according to a press release. The technology combines a rigid robotic arm with full navigational capabilities in a single platform for spine procedures.

Procedures the new system will be used for include lumbar and cervical spinal fusions, decompressions and laminectomies, revisions of prior spinal surgeries, scoliosis, spinal deformity corrections, screw and rod placements and more.
