FITCHBURG, Mass. —

A rally was held in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, on Saturday in support of Juliana Milena Ojeda-Montoya, who was detained by immigration authorities on Thursday in a hostile arrest that made national headlines.

Video shows ICE agents pulling her away from her husband, Carlos Zapata, and their 18-month-old daughter.

Zapata allegedly suffered a medical emergency during the encounter, something the Department of Homeland Security disputes.

Ojeda-Montoya was wanted on an arrest warrant for allegedly stabbing a coworker with a pair of scissors in the hand and throwing a trash can at them.

She was transported to Cumberland County Jail in Scarborough, Maine, where she will remain in custody pending removal proceedings.
