OWINGS MILLS — When she drew her stick back, Jordan Zimmerman had no real intention of scoring one of the most consequential goals in the history of Frederick County field hockey.

Zimmerman, a senior forward for Linganore High School, was looking to pass and set up one of her teammates to pull off the feat.
