JONESBORO — According to information presented at a recent work session, Clayton County Public Schools is seeing an uptick in total behavior incidents.

In a report from the Oct. 27 Board of Education work session, in September 2025, total behavior incidents increased 10.24% when the months of August and September of 2025 were compared to the same period in 2024.

The report also included statistics on the district’s five major infractions (bullying, gang activity, weapons, fighting and drugs) in August and September.

“Bullying and gang activity decreased by 19.15% and 66.7% respectively,” the report read.
