The World Series is over and now free agents are able to sign wherever they want and teams can also make trades.
That's technically true, but we likely won't start to see any big-name players make decisions until closer to the Winter Meetings in early December. Instead, you're always more likely to see smaller, depth decisions right away. For example, we've seen plenty of players across the league elect free agency over the last week or so. There have been a handful of guys who have opted for free agency from the Toronto Blue Jays this offseason already, including former All-Star Joe Mantiply, as shared by Sportsnet's Zach Worden.
