A vast clean-up operation has been launched along one of Britain’s best known beaches after huge quantities of plastic beads were washed in from the sea.
Environmental groups and volunteers have been working alongside the Environment Agency to clear millions of pellets from Camber Sands in East Sussex.
Plastic pellets are often used in water treatment. But it is not yet clear where these came from.
We spoke to the area’s MP Helena Dollimore and asked her when she was first told about the problem.
