Ukrainian strikes have disrupted power and heating to two major Russian cities near the border, local Russian officials have said. A drone strike blasted parts of Voronezh while missiles pummelled Belgorod.
Both Moscow and Kyiv are targeting energy assets almost every day as diplomatic efforts fail to calm the brutal war, which has now raged for almost four years. While Ukraine accuses Russia of aiming to “weaponise winter” both sides seem set on imposing misery on civilians.
