Dr. S. Muhammad Salim Khan, Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College, Srinagar, has been conferred with the prestigious Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS) award.
The honour was presented during the convocation ceremony of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) held as part of the 65th Annual Conference of NAMS (NAMSCON 2025) at PGIMER, Chandigarh, on 8th November 2025.
The event was presided over by Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, who felicitated distinguished medical professionals from across the country for their outstanding contributions to the field of medical science and public health.
