After listening to Doug McCain on the Locked On Rams podcast talk about the changes on special teams, it became clear this could be the Achilles' heel of their season.

With the signings of Jake McQuaide and Harrison Mevis , the Rams hope that they’re taking a page out of Lady Irsay’s playbook and fixing a problem rather than putting a Band-Aid on it.

But the way it may look to some is merely putting a Band-Aid on it, because special teams coach Chase Blackburn will now have five kickers during his tenure on the team.

The craziest part about this whole change in plan for the Rams is that it comes up during one of your most hated rivals' weeks, the San Francisco 49ers .
