Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle took a hilarious shot at the NFL after barrelling his way into the end zone on Sunday.

Dowdle opened the scoring for his team against the New Orleans Saints during the day’s early slate and celebrated by putting his hands behind his head, but executing zero “pumps” while a referee watched on.

Dowdle revealed last Wednesday that he was fined by the NFL for his ‘Key and Peele’ celebration during the third quarter of Carolina’s defeat to the Carolina Panthers, claiming he didn’t know he would have fallen afoul of the league for two pumps.

He was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after a pair of pelvic thrusts, with the NFL later confirming that he had been fined $14,491.
