Princess Kate paid homage to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, on Remembrance Sunday.
Kate, 43, wore Princess Diana’s Collingwood pearl drop earrings at the solemn event, along with a Royal Air Force brooch.
Her grandfather, Peter Middleton, was a military pilot who served in World War II, and Prince William served in the RAF after graduating from university.
The Princess of Wales, 43, who stood next to her stepmother-in-law, Queen Camilla, 78, was dressed in all black, as protocol requires.
She wore a Catherine Walker jacket and a fascinator with a ribbon, along with a red poppy affixed to her jacket.
Remembrance Day is celebrated each November in the U.K. to honor military veterans who served the Commonwealth. Red poppies are often worn to commemorate those who have fallen.
