Redhawks guard BJ Ward drives the lane, going in for a close-range floater over Mizzou’s 6-foot-11 forward Luke Northweather. As Ward released the shot, Northweather deflected the ball to forward Mark Mitchell at the top of the opposing team’s key.

Mitchell scooped up the loose ball and wasted no time in his transition, pursuing the hoop, pounding down the court with determined dribbles. It took Mitchell three dribbles to get from the top of SEMO’s key to the heart of Mizzou’s basket and three steps once in the paint to lay it in over Redhawks' Landren Blocker, who fouled Mitchell on the jump.
