Three people are facing charges after a man paying for sexual favors got assaulted following an illegal "encounter" at a Shallowford Road motel, according to an arrest report obtained by Local 3 News.

Jacob Nyland, 35, called police just after midnight on August 31, saying he had been assaulted by a man in the motel parking lot after meeting with a female escort he found online.

The alleged assailant was later identified as 42-year-old Brandon York. Police say the sex worker was 28-year-old Halie Millians.

Nyland told officers he had sexual relations with Millians, and when he went out to his car to pay her, York joined them and began arguing with him.
