The Seattle Seahawks will be without defensive lineman Jarran Reed for the next four games after the team placed him on injured reserve Saturday.
There hadn’t been any significant update on exactly what had happened and when Reed had been injured, with his questionable designation ahead of the Week 9 contest with the Washington Commanders seeming to many to come out of nowhere. Now, Seahawks general manager John Schneider has shed some light on what happened with Reed, giving some background on how Reed seemingly came out of the bye less healthy than he was going in.
Specifically, on his pre-game radio appearance on Seattle Sports, Schneider stated that Reed underwent a procedure on his wrist during the bye, and the results weren’t quite what the team had expected.
