Barcelona sporting director Deco has claimed that the club has no plans to bring in new players this January, hinting that all their 2026 dealings will be conducted next summer. This year, Barca only added three players to their first team squad, including Marcus Rashford .
The La Liga champions secured Rashford, 28, on a season-long loan from Manchester United . As part of the deal, Barcelona negotiated an option to permanently sign him at the end of this season for €30million (£26m).
So far, the England international has impressed the Barca hierarchy, scoring six goals and providing five assists in 15 appearances, primarily from the left wing.
