Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains, including the Ernakulam–KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, via video conference.

In Bengaluru, a reception function was organized at KSR Bengaluru Railway Station to welcome the new train service. The event was graced by Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries, H. D. Kumaraswamy, as the Chief Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, H. D. Kumaraswamy said that the Prime Minister and the Minister of Railways are providing excellent facilities to the public. Since 2014, Indian Railways has witnessed remarkable growth and modernization.
