WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Newly obtained court documents outline the night of heavy drug usage, which led to the overdose death of a 15-year-old Wichita girl in September.

On the morning of September 14, 2025, officers were called to 4825 E. New Jersey, near McConnell Air Force Base, to the report of a drug overdose. When officers arrived, they found Kennedy Herren not breathing. She was transported to a local hospital, where she died an hour later.
