GREEN BAY, Wis. — Eagles newcomer Jaire Alexander (knee/coach's decision) is not traveling with the team to Green Bay to play the Packers.

The veteran has officially been ruled out and will not face his former team on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles want to give Alexander some extra time to acclimate to the defense and are having him stay back in Philadelphia to focus on his knee recovery.

This week, Alexander said his knee felt better than it had all season and he was not listed on the team's injury report.
