Pita Kitchen is the latest addition to the growing Surprise City Center.

The restaurant, which features an assortment of Mediterranean food, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 29 at 16853 N. 145th Ave., Suite 167.

Co-owners Reimun Shleimun and Rian Hanna cut the ribbon alongside City Councilmember Johnny V. Melton. Nenos Mamo, the restaurant’s general manager, and Moises Gonzalez, the director of catering, were also in attendance for the big day.

The event also drew in representatives with SimonCRE and Phoenix West Commercial, as well as Assistant Economic Development Director Mike Hoover.

The opening marks the third Pita Kitchen location in the West Valley.
