Buffalo running back made an extra point in the preseason while trying out as the team's emergency kicker.

The Bills apparently deemed being down two scores against the Miami Dolphins an emergency.

Davis attempted an onside kick after a Buffalo touchdown cut the Bills' deficit to 23-13 with 3:36 left in the fourth quarter.

It didn't go well.

Miami's Cedric Wilson recovered the Davis attempt and Buffalo was also flagged for illegal formation.

The Dolphins , who entered the game with seven straight losses against the Bills, won 30-13.

Davis kicked the first Buffalo extra point of the preseason opener against the New York Giants . With his mouthguard hanging from his facemask, Davis put the extra point through the middle of the uprights.
