Police launch an urgent hunt for the gunmen who fled a bar on motorbikes after shooting a Brit dead during a phone robbery.

The 68-year-old was sitting at the bar in Tema in Ghana, when six men approached and tried to steal his phone on Friday.

The victim, named as Ashraf Qarmar Parvez, was shot dead as he tried to wrestle his phone back.

The gunman then fled on motorbikes with the other robbers.

The victim was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Tema General Hospital.

A 9mm shell was retrieved from the scene, while witnesses have been interviewed to aid the police’s ongoing investigation and urgent search operation to find the killers.
