It was a day of celebration for Sault Ste. Marie high school football as both the Korah Colts senior team and the St. Mary’s Knights junior squad captured Northern Ontario Secondary Schools Athletics (NOSSA) championships in Sudbury on Saturday.

Each team entered the weekend having recently secured their city championships — St. Mary’s juniors on Oct. 23 and Korah seniors on Oct. 24 — and both translated that success into wins at the provincial qualifying level. Article content Article content
