A suspect is in custody after leading law enforcement from Ballard and McCracken counties on two separate chases on Sunday.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement first pursued a vehicle from Ballard County into McCracken County. They said the suspect was last seen running away from his vehicle in the area of Husband Road and Krebs Station Road.

A foot pursuit then took place until about 1 p.m., when the sheriff’s office said the suspect was found and taken into custody.
