PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- When a federal court late Thursday ordered the Trump Administration to release 100% of SNAP benefits immediately, the Oregon Department of Human Services worked through the night to ensure Oregonians had benefits by Friday morning.
So SNAP funds arrived on Oregonians’ EBT cards Friday morning before a Supreme Court ruling temporarily halted the order to fully restore benefits nationwide.
Late Saturday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture instructed states to “immediately undo” actions they’ve taken to send out full SNAP benefits.
