LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Marine Corps Reserve in southern Indiana held its 13th annual Toys for Tots Toy Run on Saturday.

With an admission fee of one toy donation, motorcyclists from across Kentuckiana gathered at VFW Post 1427 to ride together.

The Toy Run is an opportunity for the community to donate to those in need during the holiday season, with the goal of making sure every child in southern Indiana has toys under the tree.

Organizers say the best part about the toy drive is the reactions they get from the kids.

“I’ve seen them happy, joyful, and surprised because you know Santa Claus can’t always make it to someone’s house, and we try to do our best to make sure every child gets a toy,” said organizer Chuck Adams.
