Streets were taped off amid a huge emergency services response to an incident in Stockport on Sunday night (November 9).

Police, fire crews and paramedics, along with incident response units, raced to the scene and cordoned off Chatham Street in Edgeley.

It followed an incident on nearby Aberdeen Crescent. It's understood that it was in response to 'threats' being made at a property.

The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed two fire engines were called to support police officers amid the incident at around 9pm.
