HERRIN, Ill. (WSIL) -- UPDATE: The Illinois State Police have canceled the Endangered Missing Person Advisory for a missing elderly man from Herrin. State police said the man was located.
ORIGINAL: November 9, 8:50 a.m. -- The Illinois State Police Troop 10 issued an Endangered Missing Person Advisory for an elderly man from Herrin.
Authorities are seeking help in locating 85-year-old James Boland. He is described as a white male, standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 185 pounds, with gray hair.
Boland was last seen wearing a flannel shirt and black pants at the corner of East Monroe Street and North 9th Street in Herrin at 5:00 p.m. on November 7. He was driving a red 2014 Ford F150 pickup truck with Illinois truck plate 46952A-B.
Boland has a condition that places him in danger. A
