INDIANAPOLIS — There were more than a few audible oohs-and-ahs among the Carroll (Fort Wayne) volleyball players when they emerged from the tunnel and saw the set up at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the first time late Saturday afternoon.

Roncalli and Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger fans were filling in the lower bowl as warm-ups began for the Class 3A state championship match, the prelude to the Chargers' season finale vs. Plainfield in the 4A final.
