A bashment took over Calgary’s Pixel Park on Saturday for the Parka Party to help provide relief funds for Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa.

The outdoor concert and dance event ran from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with all proceeds dedicated to supporting various groups providing relief following the devastation in Jamaica.

Event organizer Zia Stolbie said the relief concert and DJ dance party was in support of grassroots organizations in Jamaica that are doing boots-on-the-ground relief work.
