Tobacco-related cancers continue to pose a grave public health concern , contributing significantly to the overall cancer burden in Karnataka and across India. Despite years of awareness campaigns and regulatory efforts, the toll of tobacco use remains alarming, as cases in the state linked to tobacco consumption have been high.
