New details on the financial results for James Gunn's Superman movie have been revealed in a DC Universe report. With the DCU's Chapter 1: "Gods and Monsters" slate , the Man of Steel made his return to the big screen this summer, with David Corenswet starring as Krypton's last son .
According to Forbes , Superman has made DC Studios more than $100 million in profit, and is "approaching $150 million globally when all is said and done this year." As the DCU installment grossed $616.5 million at the worldwide box office, $262.4 million was from the international market, while the $354.1 million came from domestic.
The DC reboot for the iconic hero also led to DC Studios having the highest-grossing comic book movie for 2025, surpassing all of Marvel Studios' releases.
