The Seahawks rolled to another impressive victory on Sunday, beating the Cardinals 44-22 to improve to 7-2 on the season, but they had to play the game without one of their veteran leaders, defensive tackle Jarran Reed.

Reed was placed on injured reserve on Saturday after initially not having a game status designation on Friday, and following Sunday's game, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald provided some clarity on the situation.

Reed, it turns out, had surgery on a wrist injury following Seattle's Week 7 win over the Texans, then after the bye week was able to make it back for last week's win over the Washington Commanders.
