DALLAS — Police arrested a suspect, accused of lighting an RV fire that killed a woman and her dog in East Dallas, over 1,000 miles away from the scene of the crime.

On Friday, Nov. 7, Dallas police announced that Lamont Richardson, 30, was arrested in Stearns County, Minn., a county northwest of Minneapolis. Richardson was charged with arson of a habitation in connection with the Oct. 19 East Dallas RV fire that killed Leslie Morrow and her pet dog.

DPD did not disclose any further details about the arrest or whether Richardson would be extradited to Dallas.
