Hollywood returned to the top of the China box office as 20th Century Studios release “ Predator: Badlands ” debuted at No. 1 with RMB52.5 million ($7.4 million) for the Nov. 3–9 weekend, according to Artisan Gateway.

With a total of $80 million, “Predator: Badlands” is the No. 1 film in the world currently, per Comscore.

PMF Pictures’ “ Row to Win ”was in second place with $2.2 million, bringing its total to $60.6 million. The comedy-drama directed by Ma Lin and starring Huang Bo, Fan Chengcheng, Yin Tao and Li Jiaqi, follows a coastal-town family – led by a once-tough patriarch – who rally together in hard times and push for a comeback.

Last week’s topper, Maoyan Movie’s “ Her Turn ,” ranked third, adding $2.1 million for a $8.9 million cume after two weeks. Directed by Cheng Ya
