MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Senate is voting on whether to advance a house-passed continuing resolution key to unlocking a deal to end the government shutdown. However, Senator Tammy Baldwin says she’s not going to vote in favor of it.
According to CBS news, at least eight democrats prepared to vote in favor of advancing a funding measure Sunday night. CBS is continuing to track live updates from the Senate Floor.
As part of the deal, Democrats would get a vote on a date in December on extending health insurance tax credits that were at the center of the government shutdown.
