ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A boy is dead after he was shot in Cartersville on Sunday, according to police.

Officers were responding to an unknown problem at 29 Weaver Street when they found the boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

No more information, including any possible suspects, has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
