OTTAWA - Depth scoring made the difference for the Ottawa Senators in a 4-2 win over the Utah Mammoth on Sunday.
Nick Cousins, with the winner, Ridly Greig, Jordan Spence and Michael Amadio all scored for Ottawa.
Both teams were playing the back half of a back-to-back.
Utah (9-7-0) wrapped up a four-game road trip with one win and three losses, while Ottawa (8-5-3) opened a four-game homestand.
Leevi Merilainen, making his third NHL start, stopped 30 shots for the Senators.
Amadio scored his sixth of the season and fourth in as many games after tipping a Thomas Chabot shot past Vitek Vanecek, who made 21 saves, early in the third to make it 4-2.
After coming up empty on an early second period power play, the Senators still managed to head into the intermission with a 3-2 lead.
