COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The College Station boys basketball team held media day ahead of the 2025-2026 season on Sunday.

The Cougars will be led by new head coach John Stanczak, who hopes to bring in a new playbook that works well with his players’ strengths.

“We got a lot of really skilled players with a lot of multi-skill sets at many positions,” said Stanczak. “We want to be able to be able to highlight those big guys that can shoot and guards that can drive and, you know, Total team shooting. We got some guys that can score. We got some absolute dogs that can get out there and defend.”

“It’s just flows, everybody can get their buckets,” said Davrick Jacobs. “Everybody can make the right decision. It just helps the whole team succeed.”
