It wasn’t that long ago that Edgewood girls soccer coach Kaytee Shimek was a player at Lakeside High School.

Shimek just completed her fourth year coaching at Edgewood, meaning the players who were freshmen when she began her tenure just wrapped up their full high school careers under her guidance.
