Voting for the second phase of the Bihar assembly elections will be held on 11 November for 122 seats. Polling will begin at 7 am on Tuesday. A total of 45,399 booths have been set up for this phase. By this evening, election officials will reach the booths with EVMs.
A total of 1,302 candidates are contesting the 122 seats. The assembly election results will be declared on 14 November. In the first phase, a record 65% voter turnout was recorded.
Voters from the villages of Herhaj, Pathra, and Kevaldih in Imamganj block will be able to cast their votes in their own villages after almost 25 years. These three villages last had polling in 2001 and have been unable to hold voting locally since then.
Previously, due to Naxal activities, the administration had set up polling booths 10–12 km
