The MMRDA's proposed integrated tunnel road network will create a 70-kilometer-long system of underground corridors connecting the Mumbai Coastal Road, the BKC Bullet Train Terminal, and CSMIA Terminal 2, with future extensions to the Eastern and Western Expressways and a north-south urban spine.

Designed to reduce congestion and connect the city's major transportation and business hubs, this underground network represents the next dimension in Mumbai's mobility vision.

Currently in the Detailed Project Report (DPR) stage, the MMRDA has invited tenders for consultants to prepare the blueprint, which will be implemented in phases subject to government approval, traffic demand, and future developments.
