KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. (WCJB) - TV20 has learned the name of the pilot who was killed in a plane crash in Keystone Heights Saturday morning.
Dozens of people remembered the late pilot from St. Augustine, Warren Cilliers, 46, on social media.
Bradford County deputies say his plane crashed around 10:41 a.m. at Florida International Rally & Motorsports Park, which is a part of the Keystone Heights Airport, Sheriff Gordon Smith confirmed.
Officials from the St. Augustine Airport say Cilliers was a legend in the aviation community.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say he was the only one on board.
FHP is working with the NTSB and FAA to investigate the crash.
