Giggle for Girls founder Sall Grover has demanded the Australian Human Rights Commission be held to account amid a reignited debate over the regulation of puberty blockers.
Access to the medication has recently come into question, with the Queensland government reissuing a ban on puberty blockers last month.
Family Court chief justice Diana Bryant has since spoken out over the landmark ‘Re Jamie’ case in 2013, admitting she now has doubts over the ruling.
Ms Bryant, who was behind the decision to remove necessary court approval for the prescription of puberty blockers to children with gender dysphoria, told The Australian “things have absolutely moved on since 2013”.
