Carlos Alcaraz got his campaign in Turin underway on November 9. The Spaniard, who is bidding to win his first ATP Finals title, went past Alex de Minaur 7-6(5), 6-2 in his first round robin match of Group Jimmy Connors.

The win helped Alcaraz maintain his perfect head-to-head lead over the Aussie, improving it to 5-0. Later, toward the end of the press conference, former WTA pro Elena Vesnina from BB Tennis, questioned the 22-year-old if he’s single.

I have a question a bit different that’s worrying a lot of girls around the world. Are your heart has been taken? Elena Vesnina asked

Alcaraz did not understand the question and looked confused. When the Russian repeated the question, Alcaraz declared, “ I’m free, I’m free, I’m free ” before breaking into a smile.
