Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is reportedly set to step back onto the battlefield this December as the team behind Border 2 plans an extended shoot for the film’s climax. The move is said to be aimed at enhancing the action and emotional scale of the much-anticipated sequel to the 1997 war epic Border.

According to a report by Box Office Worldwide, the additional shoot is scheduled for December 2025, with Deol joining the team to film an expanded finale sequence. The decision reportedly came after the filmmakers reviewed the initial cut and felt the ending required “more high-octane action moments to create the kind of cinematic experience that modern audiences expect from a big-budget patriotic entertainer."
