Ashok Tatya Khandagale, 31, a resident of Borademala in Shirur, was last seen by his family around 3 pm on September 25, 2025. After he failed to return home that day, his family launched a search which ended around 3.30 pm on September 27 when Khandagale’s body was found in a water-filled pit around 4 km from his house.
The police said Khandagale worked as a carpenter and specialised in the fitting, repair, and decoration of doors and windows. He had been living in Borademala with his family for the last few years.
