A duplicitous letter

French Hill, in a recent email, attempted to sound oh-so-caring when he was oh-so-misleading. He said the following: "With my support, the House passed a clean funding bill ... to keep the government open and ensure that vital programs like SNAP have the resources they need to continue serving Arkansas families. .... Unfortunately, 44 Senate Democrats have voted against it more than a dozen times. ... As a result, the bill continues to fall short, keeping the government shut down and putting programs like SNAP at risk."

What he failed to say in that recent email is that the president has been blocking the use of emergency funds allocated specifically for funding SNAP in just such an event as a government shutdown. If he really cared about Arkansas families, he would
