A restaurant and a sportswear brand are set to close their Aberdeen shops at Union Square , with the latter's exit leaving the nearest outlet 130 miles away.

Singh Street , an Indian street food outlet which opened just last year, will be exiting the retail hub , with no closure date issued by the restaurant.

The upper floor outlet is currently marked as "permanently closed" online while features of the company's Aberdeen restaurant have been removed from their website.

Singh Street's closure comes amid a range of changes to food and drink outlets at Union Square, with Wingstop and Maki and Ramen moving in while Itsu briefly closed down and reopened earlier this year.
